Jan P. Jol is JP Jol International's founder, and its current Managing Director. A Dutch national, Jan has been in leading positions with major international dredging firms for more than 30 years and has been based in the Far East since 1975.

Jan studied Civil Engineering at the HTS (College of Advanced Technology) in Den Haag, Holland, Advanced Business Management at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and obtained the Graduate Certificate in International Arbitration from the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Speaking about JP Jol International, Jan has the following to say: "Because dredging and port management is a niche industry, many people outside of this specialized industry know very little about the dynamics surrounding it. Our desire is to become our client's management partner in the execution of dredging, reclamation, offshore work and port management. My primary focus is to ensure that our client obtains and completes its project at the lowest total cost".
